Welcome to all Registered BAS Agents, Transitional BAS Agents and aspiring BAS Agents.

From 1 March 2010, an individual or entity providing BAS services for a fee or other reward is required to register with the new Tax Practitioners Board as a BAS Agent under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 in order to provide those services.

| We would like to extend our support and
congratulations to all the members of the new Tax Practitioners Board.
We believe that it is important to the new Tax Practitioners
Board that this new regime causes as little disruption as possible
to on-going business services. There are generous transitional
arrangements in place to make it very easy for self-employed
bookkeepers and BAS preparers to comply with the new regime and
register as BAS Agents. If you have not already done so, take a moment and select the top menu option About to get an appreciation as to the journey we have undertaken and for the reasons of evolving this web site. We would welcome any feedback on what you like, don't like, and what's not there that you really need. During this web site evolution, please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience and things that may not work like you expect them to. Enjoy! Rick Freitag Webmaster | ||
